The investment is going to be supported by the approved grant from the Operational Program of Entrepreneurship and Innovation in the amount CZK 42.7 million.

The largest part of the investment (about CZK 65 million) will go to land acquisition and construction of modern buildings in the emerging administrative area Sochorova Street in Brno. Four-storey building with underground parking with a total net floor area approximately 1.700 m2 will serve as COMGUARD headquarters, Training Center (with some specialized training rooms, lecture hall and videoconference) and Competency Center (CC). The projected completion date is the third quarter of 2012th. In addition, more than CZK 7 million will go to purchase training aids and technical infrastructure.

It will also be invested about CZK 20 million to the purchase of high security technology for Competency Centre, which will be the development of new ICT security solutions, testing, implementation of new product lines and technologies into existing ICT solutions to ensure the best possible protection for computer networks in the specific conditions of enterprises and institutions. Competency Center will include a simulation environment for the conduct of new systems under various conditions and their responses to specific situations.

Competence Center is going to start service in the existing leasehold premises in mid-2011. CC will be focused on the McAfee products, but there are available the wide range of other world leaders modules in IT security.
