DNS/DHCP
Infoblox DNS/DHCP solutions are fast becoming the de facto standard in modern enterprise networks. Whether your organization’s network environment relies on Microsoft’s Active Directory or other technologies, Infoblox appliances deliver utility-grade services and management options.
IP Management (IPAM)
IP address management (IPAM) refers to the management of allocation, administration, reporting and tracking of public and private IP space, IP devices and associated data. Enterprises typically deploy systems and processes that interact with the DNS and DHCP infrastructure in order to provide IPAM capabilities.
Network Access Control (NAC)
The Infoblox NAC Foundation module, included with Infoblox NIOS™ software, works with the DHCP server on Infoblox appliances to provide basic NAC functions in conjunction with your existing authentication and network infrastructure. The NAC Foundation module also works with McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator, the industry-leading endpoint assessment technology from McAfee. It can make an immediate improvement in network security and compliance and is a lasting investment that provides critical services required by any NAC implementation.
VoIP services
As they prepare to implement IP phones, most organizations place heavy emphasis on testing and enhancing network quality of service (QoS) to ensure that the network can deliver the required bandwidth and latency necessary for voice traffic. However, a number of other equally important network services—like DHCP, TFTP, and NTP—are often overlooked as part of VoIP deployments leading to undesirable consequences in reliability, security, and ease of management.
